Cheng Zilong, Ph.D., assistant researcher of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, national licensed veterinarian, member of Veterinary Pathologist Branch of China Veterinary Medical Association (Veterinary Pathologist), mainly engaged in etiology, molecular epidemiology, pathogenic mechanisms, and integrated prevention and control strategies, comprehensive prevention and control technology of important ruminant diseases, such as cattle and sheep. Led and participated in 8 research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, subprojects of the National Key R&D Program, key R&D programs in Shandong Province, and the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Talent Program. Received 3 scientific and technological awards, including the First Prize for Technological Innovation from the Jiangsu Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine. He has published 55 academic papers, including 13 SCI-indexed articles, and has been granted five Chinese invention patents.
