Dr. Qin Wang is a tier 2 researcher at the China Veterinary Drug Administration and chief scientist of the National/OIE Swine Fever Reference Laboratory. Long-term commitment to swine fever epidemiology, establishment of information systems, research and development of new diagnostic technologies, pathogenic mechanisms, and research on swine fever prevention and eradication technologies. She made breakthroughs, especially in the research and application of swine fever antibody chemiluminescence detection technology. She is responsible for formulating national standards for this method, providing important technical support for the prevention and control of swine fever in China. She edited the work of Swine Fever and won the honorary titles of the special allowance of The State Council and the national candidate of the New Century Million Talents Project.
