Zhixin Feng, PhD, Prof, is currently the deputy director of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the director of the Mycoplasma Animalis Innovation Team. He is a graduate tutor at Mississippi State University, Kwazulu Natal University and Nanjing Agricultural University. He is an executive member of the Asian Organization for Mycoplasmology (AOM) and has been engaged in the research of mucosal vaccine and mucosal immune diagnosis technology of swine respiratory diseases such as Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. He published a book, Laboratory Diagnostic Techniques for Mycoplasma Infection, and developed the ELISA kit for Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae sIgA antibody detection. He won the Second Prize of National Technological Invention and the First Prize of China Agricultural Science and Technology.
