
Dr. Shaolin Wang is a Professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine, China Agricultural University (CAU). He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from CAU (1999–2003) and his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from Auburn University in 2009. Dr. Wang has been recognized as a National Young Top-Notch Talent under China’s “Ten Thousand Talent Program.”
Dr. Wang’s research interests span pharmacogenomics, toxicogenomics, microbial genomics, metagenomics, and bioinformatics. He has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed articles with over 10,000 google scholar citations, with an H-index of 55. In addition, he has contributed four chapters to English-language academic books and has led ten major research projects funded by the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Ministry of Agriculture’s Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance Program. Dr. Wang serves as an Executive Council Member of the Veterinary Food Hygiene Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (CAAV), a Council Member of the Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology Branch of CAAV, a Council Member of the Laboratory Diagnostics Branch of the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), and Liaison Officer for the FAO Reference Laboratory for Antimicrobial Resistance (China).
