Dr. Yani Sun is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Northwest A&F University. She is the Head of the National Animal Disease Surveillance Site (Shaanxi Province) and Deputy Director of the Yangling Field Observation and Research Station for Animal Diseases, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Since 2014, she has been dedicated to the development of novel nanobody-based diagnostic technologies and therapeutics for major animal diseases, including PRRSV, PEDV, AIV, FAdV, NDV, and PRV. Her work has received multiple awards, including Second Prize in the First Veterinary Professional Degree Graduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and Second Prize in the Shaanxi Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for Science and Technology Professionals. She has published more than 80 papers, including over 40 SCI-indexed publications, been granted eight invention patents, and led numerous projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Foreign Expert Programs, the Shaanxi Provincial Key R&D Program, the Xi’an Science and Technology Innovation Program, and other national, provincial, and industry-sponsored research programs.
