
Prof. Hu Yanxin, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at China Agricultural University (CAU). She is a Beijing Municipal Ideological and Political Education Master Teacher, a Shennong Young Talent of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Vice President of the Veterinary Digital and Information Technology Branch of the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), Deputy Head of the Department of Basic Veterinary Medicine at the CAU College of Veterinary Medicine, and Head of the CAU Public Platform for Veterinary Pathological Diagnosis.
In 2007, she graduated from the CAU College of Veterinary Medicine through a consecutive Master's-Ph.D. program and remained at the university as a faculty member in the Pathology Division of the Department of Basic Veterinary Medicine, engaging in teaching and research related to veterinary pathology. She serves as the Head of Pathology for the GLP/GCP Laboratory of the National Veterinary Drug Safety Evaluation Center of the National Veterinary Drug Safety Evaluation Center, and as Head of the Pathology Testing Platform of the Key Laboratory of Animal Epidemiology, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. She has served as Editor-in-Chief of 2 national planning textbooks and contributed to 8 others. She has published over 40 papers in journals including PNAS, PLoS Pathogens, and Emerging Microbes & Infections, been granted 7 domestic and international patents, and led 12 projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the 14th Five-Year Plan National Key Research and Development Program, and the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Program.
She currently holds multiple concurrent positions, including Expert in the Veterinary Drug Evaluation Consulting Expert Pool of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Member of the National Feed Evaluation Committee of the Ministry, Expert in the National Agricultural Standard Technology Review Expert Pool, Executive Director of the Veterinary Pathology Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (CAAV), Executive Director of the Veterinary Food Hygiene Branch of the CAAV, Member of the National Technical Committee on Slaughtering and Processing Standardization, Member of the Second Experimental Pathology Committee of the Chinese Association for Laboratory Animal Sciences, and Editorial Board Member of the 10th Editorial Committee of the Chinese Journal of Veterinary Medicine.
