
Dr. Jinping Fu is an Assistant Research Fellow and serves as the Technical Lead of the Veterinary Diagnostic Testing Center, one of the first national animal disease surveillance sites in China at Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences. She received her Ph.D. in Microbiology from Kansas State University and subsequently worked at the Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (KSVDL), gaining hands-on experience in animal disease testing and quality system maintenance. Her research focuses on CMA/CNAS quality systems, animal disease diagnosis, epidemiology, and control strategies. She has led or participated in more than ten domestic and international research projects funded by the USDA, the NIH, industry-sponsored research programs, the Jiangsu Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Fund, the Yafu Science and Technology Service Program, and the Nanjing Overseas Returnees Innovation Program. Dr. Fu has published more than ten SCI-indexed papers as first author, corresponding author, or co-author in journals including PNAS, Veterinary Microbiology, and the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents.
