Dr. Zhongjie Fei is an Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Nanjing Agricultural University.  He earned his PhD from Southeast University under joint training with Nanyang Technological University. His research focuses on rapid detection of animal pathogens, biosensors and modification of CRISPR/Ago enzymes. As first author, he has published papers in Science Advances, Chemical Engineering Journal and other journals, and obtained numerous invention patents and software copyrights. He was selected into the Jiangsu Provincial Youth Science and Technology Talent Support Program. He also works as a Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Vice-General Manager Program, and serves as Youth Editorial Board Member and Editorial Board Member of Exploration and Agriculture Communications respectively.
