
Wang Xue-Feng, PhD, is a researcher and PhD supervisor at the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. His research primarily focuses on the replication regulation, pathogenesis, detection methods, and epidemiology of retroviruses, including Equine Infectious Anemia Virus (EIAV), Caprine Arthritis-Encephalitis Virus (CAEV), Maedi-Visna Virus (MVV), and Enzootic Nasal Tumor Virus (ENTV).
He has led more than 10 research projects, including the Youth Project and the General Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Project of National Key Research and Development Program of China. He has published more than 60 scientific papers, including more than 40 SCI papers in internationally renowned scientific journals such as PNAS, Journal of Virology, Emerging Microbes & Infections, and PLoS Pathogens, with 20 papers as the first author or corresponding author. He has received the Second Prize of the Heilongjiang Provincial Science and Technology Award and the Scientific and Technology Achievement Award of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS).
