
Dr. Cheng Du is an Associate Researcher Professor at the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He holds prominent academic positions including Vice Chair of the Equine Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Subcommittee under the China Veterinary Medical Association's Team Standard Technical Committee, and Council Member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Bioengineering Society. His research expertise spans two key areas: Viral molecular immunology and Prevention and control technologies for animal parasites. As principal investigator, Dr. Du currently leads: two NSFC General Program projects, one NSFC Youth Program project, one Heilongjiang Provincial General Program project and two sub-projects under the National Key R&D Program. He has also participated in nearly 10 additional provincial- and ministerial-level research projects. Dr. Cheng Du has published 30+ SCI papers in prestigious journals such as Journal of Virology, Science China Life Sciences, and Transboundary and Emerging Diseases. He has received two first prizes, one second prize, and two third prizes at the provincial and ministerial levels, and holds one national invention patent. Additionally, he has co-authored three monographs.
