Virology/Serology Laboratory Manager
Nebraska Veterinary Diagnostic Center, University of Nebraska-Lincoln
I have earned DVM and Master’s degree in veterinary pathobiology from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and PhD in veterinary microbiology from Iowa State University in the U.S. I was research associate, postdoctoral research associate, and technician at both Chulalongkorn University and Iowa State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories. I am currently a Virology/Serology Laboratory Manager at the Nebraska Veterinary Diagnostic Center, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My research and clinical experience in North America and South East Asia has included work with a wide variety of endemic and emerging/re-emerging of foreign animal diseases of livestock. My research focused on diagnostic assay development for infectious diseases. I developed and improved methods for several antibody-based assays for several infectious diseases, for example, porcine epidemic diarrhea virus, porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, pseudorabies virus, and foot-and-mouth disease virus.
