Professor En-Min Zhou received his MD degree from Baotou Medical College, China and PhD degree in Immunology from University of Manitoba, Canada. He has served as Research Scientist/Serology Section Head at Serology Section, Animal Diseases Research Institute, Agriculture Canada, and Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, Department of Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine, College of Veterinary Medicine, Iowa State University. At present, he serves as the University Distinguished Professor at College of Veterinary Medicine, Northwest A&F University. Professor Zhou’s research interests are on PRRSV with the focus on virus-host interaction, immune regulation, development of antiviral agents and diagnostic tests. He has published 200 peer reviewed scientific papers and developed more than 30 SOPs. Professor Zhou also serves as the Director of Shaanxi Scientific Observing and Experimental Station of Veterinary Pharmacology and Diagnostic Technology and the Director of National Agricultural Science Experimental Station (Yangling) for Animal Disease Diagnosis.
