Dr. Charan Ganta, DVM, PhD, DACVP is an Associate Professor of dermatopathology in the Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, Kansas State University, USA. Dr. Ganta earned his DVM from ANGR University, Hyderabad, India. He moved to USA in 2002 to pursue his PhD in Neuroimmunology followed by Anatomic Pathology Residency at Kansas State University. He became a diplomat of American College of Veterinary Pathologists in 2011. He is a member of American College of Veterinary Pathologists, AAVLD’s pathology committee and an active member of International Society of Veterinary Dermatopathology.

2011-Assistant Professor/Anatomic Pathologist, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and Yerkes Primate Research Center, Emory School of Medicine.
2012- Chief Pathologist, Abaxis Veterinary Reference Laboratory.

2019- Associate Professor of Dermatopathology, Director of Comparative and Experimental Pathology service, Kansas State University.
Dr. Ganta provides diagnostic pathology service and teaches dermatopathology to 2nd year DVM students, interns and residents at Kansas State University. He also, provides anatomic pathology consultation services to private diagnostic laboratories in USA, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in China since 2017.
